The Romsat TR-2018HD receiver from a well-known Chinese manufacturer is designed to organize the reception of digital terrestrial television in DVB-T and DVB-T2 standards in MPEG2 and MPEG4 compression formats with standard (SD) and high (HD) image resolution. To ensure the functionality of the receiver, reliable components were used: a powerful Mstar MSD7T01 processor, 4 MB and 64 MB permanent memory and RAM modules, respectively.

The receiver is made in a black metal mini-case with holes for passive cooling of electronic components and a built-in power supply. On the front panel there is a 4-digit 7-segment LED display, a USB connector for external drives and a full control panel (power, menu, volume and channels), consisting of 7 buttons.

All other switching connectors are located on the back side:

• ANT IN and ANT OUT - antenna input and loop output for parallel connection of equipment,
• HD OUT (HDMI) and 3RCA (tulip) - for connecting modern and outdated TV models.

The tuner is adapted for Ukrainian frequency standards and is able to easily process the signal of the entire range of T2 television and reproduce it on TV in high quality. The model implements the power supply of an active decimeter antenna through a coaxial cable without additional sources of electricity.

A friendly menu interface allows you to quickly configure and easily use the device's functionality:

• automatic and manual search,
• editing the channel list,
• adjusting the sound and picture.

The software provides the possibility of delayed viewing of broadcasts and their recording, as well as playback of video, audio and photo files of all the most common formats from your collection on connected external hard drives (HDD) or portable Flash.

The set-top box is distinguished by a sensitive tuner, high-speed channel switching and a quick exit from standby mode. The feeling of comfort in the process of controlling and using the model is enhanced by a convenient remote control included in the delivery set.
