To choose a flashlight for a hike, you need to consider its brightness, type of power supply, weight, dimensions, degree of protection against moisture and dust. It is advisable to choose models with LED lamps, as they are brighter and more economical. Do not forget to check how strong the body and fasteners are. Pay attention to the battery life, take spare ones if necessary.

It is better to use lithium-ion batteries, as they have a longer life and are less prone to self-discharge than conventional alkaline batteries. However, do not forget to check the compatibility of the batteries with the flashlight model in order to avoid problems with operation or damage to the device.
