Calibration:
To achieve maximum accuracy when using a PH-meter, it is recommended to calibrate according to the following instructions:
- Pour 250 ml of distilled water into three separate clean containers.
- Into each container, add the appropriate calibration powder (4.00, 6.86, 9.18).
- Stir and wait for the powders to dissolve completely.
- For +0.1 pH accuracy, calibrate the instrument at the 6.86 mark.
- For +0.01 pH accuracy, perform a three-point calibration — 6.86, 4.00 and 9.18.
